Why Use a Mortgage Broker

Buying a new property is exciting and you will want to ensure that you get the property you have made an offer on. You should work with a mortgage broker and a solicitor that you know will get the job done efficiently and that will always be available to answer any questions you have.

We provide professional advice and offer a comprehensive range of products from across the market.

We don't charge for our advice. Instead, we simply charge a fee for processing your mortgage application. We want to be able to show you how we work, what service you will receive and ultimately the terms we can secure for you before you commit to using our services. Our typical fees are £595 for a purchase and £295 for a remortgage. However, the actual fee can vary depending on your circumstances. More complex cases may result in higher fees.

If you choose to use Pilgrim Mortgages & Protection we will handle everything from the completion of the application forms to the instruction of the property valuation and we will chase the estate agents, surveyors and solicitors on your behalf to bring about a swift completion.

Is it Easier to get a Mortgage Through a Broker?

Yes. In our opinion, it is much easier and for several reasons; you will not have to spend hours on a phone to a bank waiting to speak to someone and then going through a laborious sales process.

You get access to more products as most mortgage brokers have access to hundreds of lenders.

You benefit from someone working on your mortgage application whilst you go about your daily life. If things go wrong (and they often do)  you will have someone working on your behalf to find solutions.

A mortgage broker can save you time and money on your mortgage.
